Ground manners are very important especially when you have a 17.2hh Irish Draft looking down on you. In the wild horses assert their authority to other horses by moving other horses feet. By working through some simple exercises you can learn to move your horses feet to gain leadership over your horse to empower you with the confidence to handle different situations.

You would be surprised how many day to day things that you do with your horse would be much quicker and more enjoyable if he was co-operating with you rather than fighting against. It may be as simple as wanting to pick his foot up while you hoof pick them clean so he stands quietly and politely and not snatching them out of your hand or could be turning your horse out and not wanting to go skiing up the field with him!
